The Thrust Washer provides additional surface contact for a more secure connection. No spinning, tipping, or damage to your coupler. The standard Thrust Washer is included with all Ball Mount Adapters and recommended as part of our standard connection process.
Removable Puzzle Piece
When used with the Thrust Washer, the Puzzle Piece increases the height of the Ball Mount to provide more surface area while tightening. It can also be removed to accommodate unusual coupler shapes.

Thrust Washer
Which setup is right for your trailer?
Ensure that your coupler sits flush on top of the Thrust Washer, without running into any obstructions.
We recommend:
Standard Connection
A flush, tight connection between the Thrust Washer and coupler. Flat, without any visible gaps.
Connection Without Puzzle Piece
Required when protrusions on the trailer coupler prevent a flush, flat connection. Simply remove the Puzzle Piece to bypass them.
Atwood (Angled)
For angled couplers on Jayco trailers. Fits around the coupler and creates a flush connection with the upper lip.
Atwood (Straight)
For flat couplers on Jayco trailers. Fits around the coupler and creates a flush connection with the upper lip.
