BACKING A PONTOON TRAILER A BREEZE WITH PARKIT360

Each year, it seems even longer and wider pontoons and tritoons are being introduced. While fun and spacious on the water, even the smaller models can be a headache when backing on a trailer. With Parkit360's Force 5K and 10K electric dollies, maneuvering these large boats is a breeze, even around obstacles and tight corners with mere inches to spare.

Parkit360 Force 5K and 10K electric trailer dollies will move 5,000 lbs. and 10,000 lbs., respectively, with a 900 lb. tongue weight. They're light enough to be picked up by one person and so compact they'll fit into the trunk of a small sedan.

Using a Force electric dolly is easy. The trailer is connected to the included ball and secured with Parkit360's Stableloc technology. Then, it's simply a matter of using the thumb toggle for forward and reverse and steering. The user faces the boat and sees everything. Extreme turning angles can be attained that are impossible without jackknifing if using a tow vehicle. A video is at bit.ly/2hOhrDJ.

Completely self-contained, the Parkit360 electric trailer dollies are powered by an industrial-grade Bosch 1.5 hp motor. With planetary gearing and 4" wide tires, it drives over varied terrain and up slight grades.

Force 5K and 10K dollies run off a 12V battery, either onboard or the boat's, with the included 80" connection cable. It includes a voltage meter and built-in charger.

Numerous options are available such as 6.5" tires and a Smart Brake Control System that sets the trailer's electric or surge brakes when the power button is released. Parkit360's Force 5K is $1,095 and the Force 10K is $1,330, with online pricing specials commonly available.
